Day 11

Today was free and easy! Just when the weather began to get better the previous, today really proved me wrong. It was very cold in the morning today when I woke up. It was drizzling in the morning. Though the rain was small, it was still very cold!

We decided to go shopping at jiang han lu today. We had been there before, so we knew how to get around easily. A rainy day isn't really a good day to shop as it kind of dampens our mood. The street stalls there are closed because of the rain and we had to go to macdonlads to buy some food to eat. The price of the things at macdonlads is almost the same price when changed back to singapore dollars. It costs about 22 rmb for a normal meal there. There also isn't student meals for Macdonalds like in singapore.

After shopping, we cabbed back to school. By the time we got back, the rain had already stopped.

Reflection

Time passes very fast and its day 11 already! I'm starting to get used to the environment in Wuhan already and I think thats a good thing. There is one thing that bothers me very much. Its the cleanliness of Wuhan.Dustbins aren't really a common sight in Wuhan. People will normally just throw their litter on the streets and just walk off. Some people might think that its inconsiderate, but people have to think in a different perspective too. I feel that if more dustbins were to be placed and if there are signs promoting keeping Wuhan clean, people will use the dustbins instead of just throwing their litter by the streets. I am sure that if someone takes the initiative to help improve the cleanliness of the country, people will follow suit over time. This will give tourists a good impression of the country.
